This short guide will tell you what to expect when you first login to Sellify, key tasks you’ll want to complete to maximize getting value out of your 30 day trial, and covers frequently asked questions related to initial setup.

Please note that the Sellify team is available to help at any time and you can book an onboarding session with our team if you’d prefer that option to our self serve onboarding wizard.

When you login to Sellify for the first time you’ll be taken through our self serve onboarding wizard which covers all the critical steps to start using and getting value out of Sellify. It should take about 5 minutes to complete this step.

The key goal of this exercise is to connect to your inventory / order management system. As soon as you connect this system Sellify will begin syncing your products and inventory, as well as your existing customer list, so you can start taking full advantage of our stock aware CRM capabilities.

You’ll be able to configure price lists, payment terms and available inventory locations during this step.

Note that you do not have to connect an external order management system to use Sellify. Sellify does allow for basic product and order management without a connected system and you can choose this option during setup.

If you ever want to change your connected system you can do so through the Admin → Order Management settings page.

The onboarding wizard is purposeful short to focus on getting your data into the system but there are some additional settings you’ll likely want to tune to your preferences.

On your dashboard you’ll see a card listing several of the most common configuration options for easy access. Those options and more are described in the next section.
